{"id":2265,"date":"2022-02-21T10:54:08","date_gmt":"2022-02-21T09:54:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hartwigmedicalfoundation.nl\/?page_id=2265"},"modified":"2026-05-26T15:53:37","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T13:53:37","slug":"partnerships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.hartwigmedicalfoundation.nl\/en\/partnerships\/","title":{"rendered":"Partnerships"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We collaborate with all relevant stakeholders and organizations and have established collaboration and data processing agreements for the (clinical) studies coordinated by CPCT Foundation, The Netherlands Cancer Institute \u2013 Antoni van Leeuwenhoek and various other academic centers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:15%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:70%\">\n<h2 id=\"cooperation-with-stakeholders\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Collaboration with stakeholders&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We collaborate with all relevant stakeholders and organizations, including:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>oncologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, clinical geneticists and other practitioners&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>patient representative bodies (Inspire2Live, NFK and NPF)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>professional associations (NVMO, NVALT, NVVP and VKGN)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hospitals (Amsterdam UMC, The Netherlands Cancer Institute \u2013 Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, Erasmus MC, LUMC, Maastricht UMC+, OLVG, Radboudumc and UMCG)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>umbrella organizations (UMCNL and NVZ)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>insurerance companies (CZ, VgZ, ZK and ZN)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>government (VWS, ZiNL and NZa)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pharma (VIG and independent pharmacists)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>national registries (IKNL, DICA, PALGA and HealthRI)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>national research centers (CPCT Foundation and ONCODE)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>international research organizations (GA4GH, EUCANcan, EU 1+MG and GEL)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We discuss the added value of conducting complete DNA tests using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oncoact.nl\/hoe-werkt-oncoact\/#wholegenomesequencing\">Whole Genome Sequencing<\/a> (WGS) for today\u2019s and tomorrow\u2019s patients with: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the cancer patient organizations NFK, Inspire2Live and the Dutch Cancer Society and the advisory bodies NZa, ZiNL and the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We discuss the benefits of the complete DNA test and database for the learning healthcare system, as well as potential implementation strategies, with policy makers in the field of oncology. We also talk about the use and reimbursement of the complete DNA test with individual insurers and the Dutch association of insurers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We collaborate with the Genomenon in the use of their clinical knowledgebase (Cancer Knowledge Base). This is a dynamic digital resource for interpreting complex cancer genomic profiles.&nbsp;We consult the CKB for the therapy guidance in the patient report.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:15%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:15%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:70%\">\n<h2 id=\"collaborative-projects\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Joint projects&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the DRUP \u2013 and GENAYA study we collaborate with the Netherlands Cancer Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These joint projects are governed by (clinical) study agreements.
