You will be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers, contributing directly to the advancement of cancer research and patient care.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What You Will Do<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will help drive the development of our platform,&nbsp;operate&nbsp;our diagnostics infrastructure, and support translational research:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaborate with a cross-functional team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers to design, develop, and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;the platform. Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to implement new algorithms and analyses, and improve existing workflows.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate and support our molecular diagnostics and cancer support platform.&nbsp;Assist&nbsp;our clients in interpreting results and&nbsp;respond&nbsp;to their issues and questions.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrate molecular analysis data and clinical data into the platform.&nbsp;Develop algorithms and data processing pipelines to extract meaningful insights from diverse datasets.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support translational research initiatives and find ways to incorporate such research into the platform and products.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay up to date with Hartwig&#8217;s tool suite of sequence analysis algorithms and the latest advancements in cancer research, bioinformatics, and software engineering. Proactively propose and explore&nbsp;new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the platform&#8217;s capabilities.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What You Bring<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are a driven bioinformatician with a strong scientific and technical foundation:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Genomics, or&nbsp;a related&nbsp;discipline. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages. Java or Kotlin experience is&nbsp;advantageous.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of genomics and molecular biology, preferably in the domain of cancer.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with data processing and analysis techniques, including working with large datasets, relational databases, and data modeling.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid understanding of software development principles, including version control, agile methodologies, and best practices for writing maintainable and efficient code.
