Access to the Hartwig Medical Database is granted for scientific research to improve cancer care for future patients. Since 2017, we have granted access for over 360 data requests from research groups all over the world.
Hartwig Medical Database
In our database, we store the genetic and clinical data of thousands of patients with metastatic cancer (of course with the consent of the patients). The data is processed and made available to parties who conduct research into better treatments for cancer.

Since 2017, we have approved over 360 Data Access Requests from research groups all over the world. All approved Data Access Requests are published on this website.
More and more cancer drugs are only suitable for a small group of patients. However, we are often not capable to find these patients. That is why every patient with metastatic cancer should be genetically screened before starting treatment.
