Data
Access to the Hartwig Medical Database is granted for scientific research to improve cancer care for future patients. Since 2017, we have granted access for over 200 data requests from research groups all over the world.

Hartwig Medical Database
In our database, we store the genetic and clinical data of thousands of patients with metastatic cancer (of course with the consent of the patients). The data is processed and made available to parties who conduct research into better treatments for cancer.
Data Access Requests
We store the genetic and clinical data of patients with metastatic cancer in the Hartwig Medical Database. The data is available for scientific research on request.

Approved Data Access Requests
Since 2017, we have approved over 200 Data Access Requests from research groups all over the world. All approved Data Access Requests are published on this website.

“By using WGS, we took a step forward in molecular diagnostics in our department from the analysis of less than 100 genes to approximately 20,000 genes per patient. This provides an enormous amount of valuable information, not only for the patient of today, but also for the patient of the future.”
