DR-470 RADAR: Repurposing and Analysis of Drugable targets in Atypical Rare cancers
The RADAR study aims to improve outcomes for patients with rare cancers, which affect over 24,000 people annually in the Netherlands and often lack effective treatments. By integrating genomic and phenotypic data, the project will uncover shared molecular features across tumor types to identify therapeutic vulnerabilities. RADAR focuses on repurposing existing drugs and discovering new targets, with the goal of developing more effective, cross-tumor treatment strategies. This approach addresses a critical unmet need and offers a faster path to better therapies for underserved patient groups facing poor prognoses and limited options.
