DR-517 Whole-Genome and Transcriptome Sequencing in Primary CNS Tumours: A Comparative Analysis of Hartwig and Canadian Cohorts
This project will study genomic data from patients with primary central nervous system (CNS) tumours, including whole-genome and transcriptome sequencing data, to better understand the molecular features of these cancers. By comparing Hartwig Foundation data with a Canadian cohort, we aim to evaluate how well comprehensive genomic profiling can identify clinically relevant alterations, refine tumour classification, and reveal opportunities for precision oncology. The goal is to determine the real-world value of these advanced sequencing approaches and ultimately improve diagnosis, treatment selection, and research strategies for patients with primary brain tumours.
