DR-491 Learning the cellular origins of rare cancer using single-cell chromatin landscape

No Featured Image set

Deciphering the cell of orgin (COO) of different cancers is critial for understanding tumor development and improving diagnostic and therapeutic strategies in oncology. We will leverage machine learing, single-cell chromatin accessbility cellular profiles, and whole genome sequencing patient samples to predict the COO of rare cancer subtypes with high robustness and accuracy at acell subset resolution. This study will highlight distinct cellular trajectories during cancer development of different histological subtypes and uncover an intermediate metaplastic state during tumorgenesis which is supposed to be important for cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment stratification.
