DR-457 NRF2 pathway activation in metastatic urothelial carcinoma
Patients with advanced bladder cancer have incredibly poor outcomes. Over half of patients die within 5 years, many of them with metastatic disease. Our work with advanced primary disease has found a particularly aggressive patient subgroup which may respond to a set of treatments trialed in lung cancer, but we need to validate our work in other patient cohorts, and our hypothesis is that the group will be enriched in metastatic disease. Here we will use genomic and transcriptomic data from metastatic bladder cancer to validate our patient subgroup to increase support for direct translation to the clinic.
