DR-425 Investigation of mutational processes and selection in cancer metastases
Cancer is a genetic disease driven by mutations in certain parts of the genome. We aim to study the distribution and patterns of mutations acquired during tumorigenesis and cancer therapy. This allows us to infer which mutagens enabled the tumor as well as which particular parts of the genome were relevant for disease initiation and progression.
