DR-464 Stop-loss in cancer
This project investigates rare genetic changes called stop-loss mutations and their role in cancer. Using mutations called from genome and exome sequencing data from multiple cancer types, we aim to identify and analyze stop-loss mutations in tumors and compare them with other well-known mutation types. We aim to uncover their impact on cancer development and patient response to treatments like immunotherapy. Our findings could lead to better understanding of how specific genetic alterations influence disease progression and help identify new biomarkers for treatment response.
