DR-525 Prostate RNA sequencing atlas
Prostate cancer progresses from normal tissue to a primary cancer, which then subsequently metastasizes and develops resistance to therapies, most notably androgen deprivation therapy combined with androgen receptor pathway inhibitors, which represent the mainstay of therapy in an early metastatic setting. To understand the precise molecular (genetic and gene expression) changes along this pathway, we began merging RNA sequencing cohorts from different disease stages. This process involves the reprocessing of raw data to eliminate cross-study biases.
